WoSA "Discover South Africa" East Africa Theme Tasting Roadshow 2025

Wines of South Africa (WoSA) will be hosting “Discover South Africa” themed tasting events in Tanzania, Kenya, and Nigeria from 8th to 11th July 2025 in the capital cities of Dar es Salaam and Nairobi, followed by events in Lagos, Nigeria, on 17th and 18th July.

The objective of these events is to raise awareness of South African wines and provide a platform for producers—both those already represented and those seeking representation—to showcase their wines collectively in these key African markets.

Invitations will be extended to members of the local trade, including importers/distributors, F&B managers and staff from hospitality establishments, media, and consumers.

To deepen knowledge of South African wines within the hospitality sector, we will also host masterclasses in each market, targeting up to 80 attendees per location. These sessions will be designed for trade professionals, importers/distributors, sommeliers, buyers, restaurant and hotel staff, and portfolio managers in the food and beverage industry.

We aim to present a comprehensive range of South African wines currently available in Tanzania, Kenya, and Nigeria, while also introducing new brands to the market. Additionally, a dedicated Theme Tasting Pods area will be featured, offering a free-pour zone where buyers and media can explore various themed wine selections at their own pace after the masterclasses.
